Microsoft Power BI reveals relationships hidden in your data

Microsoft Excel has been the workhorse for a generation of professionals to understand and share insights about their customers and their business. Microsoft Power BI introduces a new level of data analysis tools that are simpler to use. With Power BI, professionals now are able to understand the relationships between datasets in a way that wasn't possible with Excel.

Power BI imports data from a variety of data sources (e.g., databases, spreadsheets, and SharePoint), provides tools for modeling the data, and introduces a range of graph types and interactions between them so that clicking on one chart will update the related data in the others. Additionally, Microsoft's Power BI Service provides a secure portal website so that an organization can share it's data and even publish authoritative reports.
